Frisbee
Frisbee the dog. We didn't name him, but Frizzle-bee seems to work like a charm. He's a very loving and fairly well behaved dog (unless he spots a squirril, then there is no telling what he'll do)

Our new home
Back by popular demand........
The Life and Times of Patrick and Shula as domesticated people.
It turns out that SOME of our friends use our blog page as their only connection with our lives. So, in order not to dissapoint, we will continue blogging here. I think it is only fitting to not contaminate our trip blog site.
Patrick and I are now happily settled into life in Eugene, Oregon! It was an amazing turn of events that Patrick managed to land a job here. I had told him while we were in Iceland that the only way I would consider moving back to the U.S. was if we lived in Oregon, and here we are. As you know from following our travel blog, he applied for the job while we were basking in the sunshine on a Thai beach, drinking tropical drinks and having daily massages. We fretted through Burma wondering if he would miss a call from Probes. It wasn't until the middle of New Zealand that he actually got the call and we cut our trip short to return for an interview. Thankfully he landed the job and our journey had a happy ending.
Here we now are! We have bought a house in downtown Eugene and have started a small family of sorts - 2 cats and a dog.
